Early 20th Century Yew Oyster Coffee Table

Design Plus Gallery presents an Oyster Veneer Coffee Table from the Early 20th Century. The piece has the most fascinating surface with oyster yew, a type of wood veneer made from thin slices of yew branches. Oyster veneering is a decorative technique that uses cross-sectioned wood to create patterns that resemble oyster shells. There is an attractive x-frame with turned stretcher connecting them. The table is in good condition with visible and minimal surface wear for its near antique age.
