Vintage Faience White Squirrel With Nut Figurine
SOLD!
Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage Faience Squirrel Figurine. This style is a type of French pottery of the late 16th and early 17th centuries; an homage to bianchi di Faenza, a sparsely decorated Faenza majolica. The sweet figure is caught unaware in an alert stance; noticing the viewer through red glass eyes. Light wear; repairs to ears and paws; fair condition.
