The Lia chair is tour-de-force of minimalist seating, its thin frame and similarly narrow-profile yet gently curved seat and back expanses, ensure both ergonomics and a profound levity of form. The way in which the upholstery and the frame interact within the form is one of the many elements that makes Lia so remarkable, the frame is unexpectedly revealed , akin to punctuation, where the vertical planes of the legs meet the horizontal seating plane. There are visible signs of heavy usage, however these are long lasting well made steel encased with leather wrap chairs that have lots of use left in them. Made in Italy.
