Vintage Large Chinese Round Brass Tray/Wall Hanging

Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage Large Chinese Round Brass Tray/Wall Hanging. The plate is hammer forged with Asian symbolic animal motifs as well as a center inscription. There is a noticeable phoenix, dragon, fish, leopard, rooster, offset on each end by the sun engraved into the plate, as are these symbols. This is a wonderful piece of historic art c.1950s. The design elements run from infinity scrolls, aztec, hammered serpentine textures, sunburst and floral patterns, scrolls, to even geometric influenced wave pattern and lily-pads. Good condition on the brass with conditions that are consistent with age + use.
