Design Plus Gallery presents a Reproduction Print depicting a segment of Autumn Maples with Poem Slips, a Six Panel Screen by Tosa Mitsuoki, 1617-1691. The original screen, one of two, was executed in Ink, colors, gold leaf, and gold powder on silk c.1675, and is currently off-view at the Art Institute of Chicago, Arts of Asia Collection. A simple white mat and crisp black wood frame allow the delicate work to glow. Little evidence of wear; overall good condition.
