Design Plus Gallery presents a Deconstructed 19th C. English Wingback Chair by Restoration Hardware. Designers Van Thiels were inspired by there grandfathers 19th century wing chair, which replicated the Old World Artistry. A distressed walnut frame, accented with nail tacks, is complemented by the texture of burlap and Belgian fabric in a Sand Color. An S-scrolled wing back with tufted and tied-back upholstery, and two straight front legs on brass castors. Wide jute strapping supports the 8-way, hand-tied seat spring. Two layers of burlap cover the back and the rail below the seat. A single seat cushion is a down-blend fill; a thin foam core wrapped with 80% feathers and 20% down. The walnut frame and legs are smoothly sanded and given a matte finish to look as they would before the final stain and polish; nicks, imperfections and natural variations in color are to be expected. A chair for all ages. Arm Height: 27.5 inches, Seat Height: 20.5 inches.
