Design Plus Gallery presents a Set of Six Cab 412 Chairs from Cassina and were Designed by Mario Bellini in 1977. Cab is the world’s first free-standing cowhide design chair, informed by the relationship between the skeleton and the skin; an authentic example of production excellence that requires multiple stages of artisan workmanship to create a trendy tailored-to-fit object. The upholstery consists of sixteen pieces of saddle leather per chair. They are individually die-cut and undergo a fourteen by-hand construction process. Each chair is a labour of love, from their start of creation to their end pursuit of perfection. The chairs, in their sleek black on black materials, of steel + leather are all in good condition with minor visible wear for their usage. Made in Italy.
