Geometric Marble Table Top + Turned Metal Leg Coffee Table

Design Plus Gallery presents the Hard Stone with Turned Legs Coffee Table from Italy. The table is of Pietra Dura, a technique also known as “parchin kari” in India. The technique is not the same as a mosaic as this table would seem to look. Here the stones are larger and cut to fit the image, rather than being roughly equal in size + shape. The stones used here are of marble, with semi precious gemstones making up the pattern work. The columns base is made out of metal. The table is in good condition consistent with age and use.
