A chinoiserie design is beautifully encapsulated within the square frame like a work of art. Birds and botanical motifs swirl about in cool earth tones with a soothing blue. Leafs in the pattern takes on a William C. Morris like inspiration and references Art Nouveau motifs. Innovative shoe designer from Milan, Slavatore Ferragamo started his iconic atelier in the 1930’s and later expanded his brand into scarfs in the 1950’s. The fill of the pillow is a sumptuous down material. Little evidence of wear, pillow is in good condition. Scarf is made in Italy.
