David Allen for Knoll Studio Exeter Arm Chair

Design Plus Gallery presents the Exeter Arm Chair from Knoll Studio and Designed by David Allen. Davis Allen originally designed this chair for Stendig in 1983 and named it the ‘Andover’ chair. After Stendig went out of business, Knoll reintroduced the design 10 years later as the Exeter chair and that is what is shown on the brand plate found on the chairs underside. The arm chair has a beech wood frame with a red mahogany finish and a sandy looking upholstery of brown with tan weave. The Exeter chair is no longer in production with Knoll Studio and is in good condition for its usage.
