“My landscapes depict scenes from Massachusetts north shore, New Hampshire, Vermont, Monhegan Island and Mt. Desert Island, Maine as well as Ireland and the Yukon Territory in Canada. The sounds, the smells and the feel of the open air provide a wonderful stimulation to the creative process.I look for a subject that triggers an emotional response in me and I try to convey that feeling to the viewer. I work primarily in oil, but also in watercolor, pastel and pen & ink.”
