Design Plus Gallery presents “Cornelian Cathedral” by Australian Artist, John Lownds. This original piece is bright, charming, and centered with accuracy. The detail work found in this watercolor shows you that this was indeed a talented painter who had mastered his craft. The precision of the lines on all of the beach huts is remarkable, lining up perfectly with their placement. The paper is saturated in color and then mutely encased in a silver frame. There is a slight off white matte and also his certificate of authenticity is found on the backside. His signature is nicely hidden in the beam of one of the beach houses. It is in good condition with minimal visible wear for its usage.
