Circa 1937 Robys Kina Lillet Original Poster, Framed

Design Plus Gallery presents the Kina Lillet Poster from 1937 by Artist Robert Wolff, as Known by Robys. The artist of the poster used bright, contrasting colors and a dynamic composition to promote the exciting and celebratory Kina Lillet beverage. A beautiful woman, dressed in bountiful grapes and bright and festive colors enhance the allure of the liqueur. The image is so dynamic in both color and composition that it is still used in advertising to this day. The Kina Lillet company launched in 1895 and was quickly nicknamed the “aperitif of Bordeaux.” The artistic style is somewhat bold but yet whimsical in the genre of Cappiello, D’ Ylen, and LeMonnier. His signature is found on the lower right side and is expertly framed in a gold gilt frame. It is in good condition for its vintage age + use.
