Design Plus Gallery presents a Chinese Mother-of-Pearl “Hundred Antiques” Screen. This six-panel folding screen has a black lacquer surface decorated with mother-of-pearl inlay and gilt detailing. The front displays Jade ancient-style vessels, camels, horses, foo lions, and decorative objects set within shaped reserves over a repeating lattice pattern. The reverse side has repeated gilt floral motifs across each panel. Brass-tone caps accent the feet. The single panels are in good condition; visible and minimal wear from usage, including light scuffs, edge wear, minor inlay losses, and patina to the brass-tone foot caps.
