Design Plus Gallery presents a Husk Swivel Chair by B&B Italia. Designed by renowned Designer Patricia Urquiola in 2011. The molded frame is in a black finish. The seat cushion is tufted with a Dark Blue/Black Fabric. The cushion connected to the frame with snaps. The swivel base is charcoal finish. The molded shell functions like an outer “husk” into which the cushions tufted in wonderfully trapezoidal shapes that resemble kernels. It rests upon a simple wooden swivel support. Can appear as either playful or formal. Made in Italy- Seat Height: 17 inches.

“Those who look at a sofa must visually perceive a sense of both mental and physical comfort.” Patricia Urquiola has conveyed this concept to the armchair Husk by designing a stiff body made of Hirek ® that contains a soft cushion divided into portions, which seem to underscore its ergonomic profile. It is endowed with an original spirit that merges with various styles. Three cushion types: standard, which is large and enveloping, or headrest.
