Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Artistic Frame Marcel Chairs in Henry Calvin Fabric. Inspired by a chair designed by Marcel Guillemard from with trend setting interior he designed for the Le Printemps Primavera Pavilion of the 1925 Paris Fair. Elegant rectangular shape is accented with tiny wing backs which arch into the low arms and are complemented by airy saber legs. An oiled brass perimeter outlines the base and profiles of the tall silhouettes. Upholstered with a Henry Calvin Marrakech Black + Gold fabric. Pattern is a classic Eastern floral design which is interpreted with soft texture and illustrative pattern. Golden design elements play off an onyx background in Black Gold. Textile is made in America. The fabric is in good condition but the feet show visible wear, pair of chairs are in good condition overall.
