Antique Goyard Cabin Trunk C.1920

Design Plus Gallery presents an Antique Cabin Truck, circa 1920s by Goyard. The iconic trunk is covered in Goyardine canvas and protected by leather trim, the most luxurious finish of the ocean liner era. It is supported by the manufacturers Goyard-stamped clasps, as well as brass handles and Goyardine canvas. The interior is lined with a coated cotton canvas, the lid is quilted for attaching travel mementos. The manufacturer’s label affixed to the interior of trunk, with the serial number and address 233 Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris, France. The trunk is in well traveled, vintage condition with wear that adds to its antique charm. All original hardware, leather, + materials are present making this a fabulous collectors item. Antique condition is consistent with age and use.
