Design Plus Gallery presents a MR Chaise by Alivar, IT. Immediately recognizable, the MR Chaise is thought to be modern version of 19th century rocking chairs. One of the earliest steel furniture designs by Mies van der Rohe, the sleek silhouette is both style and comfort. Lucious cushioned chenille floats on a cantilevered polished chrome tubular steel frame that allows for a gentle “rocking” motion. Lounging defined. Little evidence of wear; overall good condition.
