1994 Ceremonial Vision Copper Repousse

Design Plus Gallery presents an Uluru Abstract Copper Repousse. Copper is hammered from the back to produce a low relief design reflecting traditional Aboriginal art found in Australia. The natural colors are a orange, gray, and solid black. Anangu art, from the Uluru National Park can be found inrock paintings, sand drawings. that were created for religious and ceremonial expression; teaching and storytelling. The back is reinforced with wood planks and has a hanging cord for mounting. Artist’s 1994 signature is on the bottom right. Minor wear from use; art is in good. condition.
